(I'm not counting Rhythm Heaven Remix.) A Super Review for The Beatles: Rock Band. 22 Brilliant Dreamcast Games Doomed to Die. (I did an entry for Super Magnetic Neo.) A preview for Assassin's Creed: Bloodlines on the PSP. A review for Scribblenauts on the DS. A review for Rockstar's music maker, Beaterator. Includes original music! Someone in the comments correctly guessed that I wrote the entire article just to make our readers feel bad about the fate of The Act. He was right. Top 7... Blatantly sexist game advertisements. Seeeeex. Rock Band vocal strategies. All games journalists secretly aspire to be rock stars. Average Joe Episode 10: Super Magnetic Neo In honor of Steve's birthday, I finally edited this lost episode of Playing it Cold. Now I'm sharing it with you. Music Database Updated! Yup, I updated the music page again, this time with some rough mixes of tracks recorded with this year's Wesleyan Jazz Ensemble. By the way, if anyone is looking for a saxophone or piano player in the Bay Area, my email is newmajoe@gmail.com and I'd love to play some gigs with y'all. The Music page! The Writer and The Writer's Brother, The Little Jesus, and The Pillowman's Entrance Just as a recap: the voiceover in these videos (and the other videos for The Pillowman) was cut out for our theatrical staging and a live actor (in this case, David Thompson, our Katurian) would narrate the films in real-time on stage. I suppose I should warn you too that there's some reasonably graphic stuff in there, and spoilers if haven't seen the stage production. Credits are up on the videos' youtube pages: thanks again to the wonderful cast and crew! The Little Deaf Boy One of four movies that was to accompany a school production of Martin MacDonagh's The Pillowman. Sonic Madness VIDEO! |
